This winter has been so bad for snow. Finally this weekend there was good snow out in the Canaan Valley in WV. They average 190 inches of snow a year out there but this year has been crazy warm and wet. Anyways, they got about 8 inches down low on the mountain and about 16 up high. So we woke up super early and headed for the hills. I knew that every northern VA yuppie and their mom was going to go skiing due to there actually being snow for once this weekend. Factoring the exodus of skiers in, we got there 15 minutes before they opened, got a our skis and hit the trail before the mouth breathers flooded the place. We had a great day on the mountain!
