On Friday morning we had a really spectacular sunrise. Guess that makes sense “red in the morning, sailor take warning” or something like that. The snow started around 1:30 in the afternoon and was very light throughout the rest of the day and most of the night. Then somewhere in the wee hours of Saturday morning it must have really picked up. When we had gone to bed Friday night there was maybe 6 inches on the ground and when we woke up about six hours later there was 18 inches. It kept snowing all day and into the night, burying Winchester in over 30 inches of snow. We had fun going all over town and finally getting out of town to ski and White Grass on Monday. Good times!
